The modern and innovative wine brand is known for its bold approach to creating non-traditional blends. The 2022 Non-Bordeaux Blend departs from classic Bordeaux-style wines, featuring a unique blend of grape varieties not typically associated with Bordeaux.
The nose features ripe red fruit aromas of cherry, raspberry, and a hint of plum. Subtle hints of spices, including clove, black pepper, and traces of oak and vanilla, supplement the primary aromas.
The wine is medium-bodied and smooth on the palate, with gentle tannins and moderate acidity. It deftly balances berry fruit flavors, including blackberry and currant, alongside herbal and spice notes.
The finish is long and balanced, with lingering fruit and spice notes persisting, leaving a pleasant aftertaste of oak and black pepper.
